I lost my friends mom recipe for her Russian tea cake cookies. I found your recipe & website. Your recipe is better than the one I had. These cookies are addictive. While I am familiar with making Russian tea cakes, your recipe was short quick and a pleasure to make. Thank you. I will be trying your recipes often in the future.

In the written recipe, the baking temperature is 375 degrees and yet in the video you mentioned baking at 350 degrees. can you kindly clarify?

Great recipe! However with 1 tablespoon scoop, this yields 35 not 48. Just a heads up!

Love to make for Christmas for gifts, and the rest of the year for me to eat. I have liked these since I was tiny and my Granny from Wales would whip up a batch in no time and let me roll them in the Powdered sugar. Yes – scoop then freeze. Or you can freeze the baked cookies too!

Thank you! I am so glad I found this. My mom used to bake these every year for Christmas, they were my Dad’s favorite. I got the recipie from Mom a few years ago, but never could get them to turn out right. Reading through your recipie, I found the issue. When I wrote down the recipie from Mom, I somehow wrote 1 1/4 cups of flour instead of 2 1/4 cups. Can’t wait until I try these again, but I’m sure that was the whole problem.

Delicious cookies!!! I substituted the vanilla extract with maple extract and added chocolate chips plus thr pecans and they are really delicious! It’s late June and I’m practicing Christmas cookies recipes now and this will be on my list! Thank you!
