The reason grapes are extremely toxic for dogs is their high tartaric acid content. Cream of tartar in home made play doh recipes has killed dogs. Please inform your readers that dogs should never be fed or given treats with anything that includes cream of tartar in its recipe. Dogs can quickly go into renal failure and die when exposed to small amounts of cream of tartar.

Trying to keep whipped cream from turning into soup is a challenge. I have discovered that adding just a pinch of cream of tartar to my whipped cream holds it And does not let it get runny, And my desserts look fabulous.

Connie, I have potassium cl 10MEQ ER tablets. 1 if one doesn’t eat sugar flying bugs don’t bite. 2 potassium bought in a store can not equate to RX. A banana can keep one from being bit. I take this RX and I’m between levels that are healthy.

Be careful with cream of tartar over a teaspoon.
